About the Role:

Within Savanta, the Business team conducts research for Business-to-Business (B2B), partners and suppliers - from raw ingredients and manufacturing capabilities to enterprise software and advisory services. Our work typically focuses on understanding hard-to-reach audiences (such as business decision makers or industry stakeholders) and delivering strategic recommendations and actions to clients.

This role requires substantial experience in market research within an agency environment, demonstrating a strong understanding of both quantitative and qualitative methodologies.

As a Senior Consultant, you will play a hands-on role in delivering high-quality research projects, applying your knowledge, expertise, and analytical skills to support clients in making better decisions.

Day to day you'll:

  • Be involved in multiple projects at once, taking the lead on medium sized projects, with support from senior colleagues and input from junior executives.
  • Liaise directly with clients and respond to requests.
  • Design and draft all core research materials.
  • Draft reports, recommendations and deliver results presentations.
  • Mentor and support team members, fostering best practice and continual learning.
  • Involved in developing new business and writing compelling proposals.

You'll be part of an established, inclusive team with a flat management structure, robust career support, and early responsibility - including account management for long-term client relationships.

About You:

You are confident in using quantitative & qualitative methodologies within an agency setting and open to embracing new ones (e.g. AI).

Someone who's naturally curious and proactive, able to work independently and juggle competing priorities effectively. It's important that you're quick to spot opportunities for our clients and for Savanta, and that you feel comfortable recommending different approaches as the situation demands.

You bring the ability to design a broad range of research materials and methodologies, ensuring each approach is tailored to meet the unique requirements of different clients. Your excellent client relationship management skills enable you to communicate and present insights with clarity, fostering strong partnerships. In addition, you have valuable experience mentoring and supporting junior colleagues, helping them to develop and grow within the team.
