You will be able to actively contribute to the management and delivery of programme and transformation risk services to our clients through a variety of types of engagements including advisory, short-term secondments, and co-sourced and outsourced delivery. You will provide expertise in areas such as portfolio and programme management, programme risk management, programme assurance, governance, and capability development.

You will cultivate client relationships, contribute to business development, and participate in eminence activities, collaborating with colleagues across Deloitte member firms.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice and strategic guidance on transformation initiatives, risk management frameworks, and project/programme controls, presenting actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders to enhance efficiency and align with best practices;
  • Set-up, deliver, and/or assure complex transformation programmes and change initiatives for diverse clients in a range of sectors;
  • Establish and enhance PMO functions and project management practices, applying and overseeing various methodologies to drive efficient delivery and ensure continuous alignment with strategic business objectives;
  • Cultivate and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders, navigating complex landscapes to achieve client-focused results, facilitate informed decision-making, and identify opportunities for further collaboration;
  • Manage and support engagement teams and junior colleagues, fostering an inclusive culture and coaching on project/programme management controls and assurance methodologies;
  • Proactively manage risks, issues and dependencies across multiple workstreams, facilitating robust risk management;
  • Collaborate effectively across the broader Deloitte network, including leveraging offshore capabilities to deliver integrated and client-focused solutions;
  • Contribute to business development activities by leveraging industry insights, the broader Deloitte network, and applying corporate and/or public sector knowledge to help clients navigate market changes, technological advancements, and evolving government policies or industry standards

Connect to your skills and professional experience

  • A graduate degree, minimum 2:1, or relevant professional qualification (e.g. Managing Successful Programmes, PRINCE2, AgilePM or equivalent);
  • Experience in programme/project management within large corporate or public sector organisations, with a focus on large-scale transformation programmes. This includes expertise in project delivery, portfolio management, and establishing/enhancing enterprise PMO functions, project control processes and programme assurance - Agile and Waterfall methodologies;
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including oral/written communication, presentation, guidance and influencing skills;
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate teams and client expectations and deliver high-quality deliverables (proposals, reports, presentations) to drive client-focused results;
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and analytical, with strong organisational, planning, and coaching skills. Capable of working on own initiative, providing data-driven insights, and fostering a collaborative culture of continuous improvement and accountability within diverse teams

Finance Transformation

Our clients want to achieve maximum value from digital transformation investments in Finance. That's where we come in. By taking a holistic view of performance improvement, including strategy, process design and technology enablement, we support the smooth operation of transformations.

Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships). This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm, and also prohibitions on certain employment relationships (e.g., you are not permitted to hold a secondary employment role with SEC audit clients of the firm whilst being employed by the firm).
