Cognizant Insurance Consulting
Cognizant's Insurance Consulting unit is seeking talented consultants with extensive business analysis and consultative experience of executing large scale business change and IT solutions for Insurance UK & European Insurance clients. This role provides an opportunity to join a rapidly growing, high energy and entrepreneurial team working with leading UK & Europe based Insurance clients.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Performed Senior Functional Architect/ Analyst roles on complex Business & Technology Transformation Programs, with Insurance clients; assisting them achieve their business, technology, strategic and operational goals.
- Individual should be a Subject matter expert in Pensions domains with good knowledge of Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution schemes.
- Individual should have experience in design and architecture of Pension and Life Policy Administration systems.
- Ability to develop creative strategic solutions to solve clients' business problems and create accompanying execution roadmaps to implement the changes. Individual will liaise with Client and provide regular updates for the PAS applications.
- Experience in analyzing existing business & data models and reporting to advise enhancements to existing applications.
- Individual will work with Client architects, research, analyze and evaluate the design specifications, new product tools , client strategies to validate the functional & technical aspects of the system.
Industry Experience:
- Deep experience of the UK Pensions Industry. Experience of working on Pensions Dashboard projects is preferable.
- API, Data and Cloud knowledge would be advantageous.
- Exposure of working on regulatory projects in a time pressured environment.
- Business Analysis skillset including data analysis and reporting, process modelling, gap analysis, stakeholder management skills.
- Hands-on experience across Insurance value chain is highly desirable.

- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues as well as on your own.
- Excellent communicator able to deliver a concise message either verbally, or in writing to senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Creative thinker, able to quickly analyze problems and identify appropriate solutions.
- Open-minded and pragmatic, with ability to guide teams to build customized tools/ templates for the engagements.
- Flexible and enthusiastic about gaining new experiences across different clients and adapting to different, challenging environments.
Contribution to Development of Practice:
- Contribute to practice activities such as Capability Development, Knowledge Management, Proposition or Solution Development.
- Develop focused industry 'points of view' or 'white papers' .
- Coach and Mentor members of the team.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Experience on industry specific COTS solutions (Life & Pensions).
- Insurance domain accreditation.
