In recent years, Moorhouse's Energy & Utilities (E&U) team has undergone remarkable growth, reflecting the dynamic evolution of the industry. Clients, seeking innovative consultancy partners, are drawn to agile, integrated teams that collaborate seamlessly. As the sector navigates significant disruption due to macro-economics, increasing customer expectations and regulatory change our clients increasingly rely on our expertise to guide them through their digital and data transformation journeys. Recognising Digital and Data (D&D) as a major growth area within the sector and essential to delivering Moorhouse's continued growth strategy, we are actively seeking a Senior Consultant with a proven track record in working on digital and/or data transformation within the E&U sector.

What do we do?

The Moorhouse Digital and Data service line supports our clients across the end-to-end transformaton life cycle, offering:

  • Impartial and experienced advisory services, assisting clients to harness emerging technologies and establish successful operating models.
  • Digital architecture expertise to support clients in the designing, building, and deploying technology solutions; from cloud migrations to technology optimisation and application rationalisation.
  • Extensive Digital Product & Delivery capabilities, helping to launch new digital products or seamlessly integrate complex enterprise technologies.
  • Support in building truly Data-Driven Organisations, help clients leverage the full potential of data and analytics to inform strategic decision-making and enhance existing strategies.
  • Business Insights and Modelling experts adept at building and implementing cutting-edge business intelligence solutions, including interactive dashboards and reports.
  • Data Science Solution Services focused on leveraging advanced techniques such as machine learning, natural language processing, and predictive modelling to solve client challenges.

As a Senior Consultant you will have:

  • 4 - 6 years of experience, gained specifically within the energy and utilities sector, either through a big consulting firm, boutique consultancy or directly working in the industry, delivering digital and technology transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working with clients across one or more of our energy and utilities subsectors, including: regulations, retail, generation and oil and gas.
  • You have a passion for energy and utilities, and can demonstrate a clear understanding of the opportunities and challenges faced by companies within this industry
  • Experience working with, and good working knowledge of, enterprise products such as SAP, Oracle, Kraken, Salesforce, MS Dynamics and PowerApps
  • Strong capability in building and nurturing relationships, both with clients and colleagues
  • Experience of effectively managing and collaborating with senior client stakeholders.

Experience

Technical expertise and a developed specialisation in one or more of the following areas:

  • Digital
  • Digital Advisory: Working with clients to offer impartial and experienced guidance in adopting new digital solutions specifically within the energy and utilities sector, with a focus on defining digital strategies and setting up successful operating models.
  • Digital Architecture & Enablement: Demonstrated expertise in supporting the full lifecycle of designing, building, and deploying new technology solutions for clients in the energy & utilities sector. Proficient in advising on initiatives such as cloud migration, technology and cost optimisation and application rationalisation.
  • Digital Product Delivery: Experience in delivering digital products and large-scale enterprise technologies, such as ERP and CRM, in the energy & utilities sector. Adept at ensuring seamless integration of technologies into operational frameworks and conducting assessments of current digital capabilities, covering tech stack, tooling, development processes, and team structures.
  • Data
  • Data Driven organisation: Experience in guiding clients to become data-driven, enabling them to leverage data and analytics to support informed decision-making and setting strategic direction.
  • Business Insights and Modelling: Helping clients gain valuable business insights, designing and implementing cutting-edge business intelligence solutions, such as interactive dashboards and reports.
  • Data Science Solution Services: Proven experience in delivering innovative data science solutions and services to clients, utilising advanced machine learning, natural language processing, and predictive modelling techniques.

What we can offer you at Moorhouse:

  • A total cash package in excess of £80,000 comprising of a base salary of £64,575 and a combination of personal and company bonuses that are paid every six months
