HOW WILL YOU MAKE CHANGE HAPPEN?

Digital services are core to North Highland's consulting work, and we are looking for the right Data Strategy Senior Consultant to continue the expansion of our UK team. At this level, you are primarily responsible for using your expertise in Data Strategy and modern operations to ensure solutions and deliverables are high-quality, functional, effective and of lasting value for our clients.

IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:

  • A minimum 3.5 years experience in providing complex consultative services in the following focus areas: information strategy, information/data governance, master data management, data quality and metadata management.
  • Working knowledge of the modernized information management tool landscape (Talend, Collibra, Oracle DRM, SAP MDM, Informatica, Alation, Big ID, Data.world)
  • A strong working knowledge and point of view on the evolving concepts and practices for modernizing information management.
  • A proven track record of understanding business challenges and translating them into value-add solutions - strong analytical and problem- solving skills - actively participate in brainstorming, identifying core issues and effectively finding and using data to manage complex analysis.
  • Familiarity with data governance live cycles such as current state/future state assessments and operating models.
  • Assessment of data strategy to look at current/future state roadmap
  • Familiarity with establishing all aspects of data quality programs including people, processes and technology.
  • Soft consulting, verbal, and presentation skills as well as industry experience aligned to NH go to market.

YOU WILL:

  • Create strategies which align people, processes, policies, and technology in information management domain
  • You will engage a variety of clients to develop data strategies, conduct data governance technology evaluations, and assist in the development and delivery of Data Governance, Metadata, and Master Data transformation roadmaps and projects.
  • Interview stakeholders to understand business requirements
  • Develop business insights by performing exploratory data analysis by interrogating databases, transforming data at a basic level, and performing different analyses like aggregations and simple correlations.
  • Visualize data for consumption of insights by stakeholders
  • Confidently and clearly present ideas and concepts to C-level stakeholders

Optional Skills / Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or better in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field,
  • Professional certifications in data technologies (BI tools, cloud technologies, ETL, etc.)
  • Familiarity with the scripting data and machine learning ecosystems - (Jupyter Notebooks, scikit-learn, SciPy, NumPy, pandas, Matplotlib, TensorFlow, etc.)
  • Experience of embedding analytics across other consulting offerings
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform inc Power Apps and Power Automate
