Job Description
What are we looking for?
AMCL is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to join our UK & Ireland team. This role offers the chance to lead impactful consultancy and transformation projects for premier infrastructure clients. You will play a critical role in advancing asset management capabilities, driving digital transformations, and advising senior leaders on strategic decision-making to shape the future of our infrastructure.
The Role
As a Senior Consultant within the AMCL UK&I team, you will be responsible for:
- Delivery leadership: Managing high-profile client engagements, responsible for managing a team of consultants, delivering outstanding work, and developing long-term client relationships
- Expanding our capabilities: Identifying and securing business opportunities in new and existing markets; driving thought leadership and representing AMCL at conferences across the globe
- Developing our people: Coaching and mentoring of team members

Qualifications
Experience and Technical Knowledge
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, defence, or consulting roles
- Strong understanding of asset management and related elements
- Working knowledge of relevant asset management standards, including ISO 55000
- Familiarity with asset information and an interest in digital transformation
Education and Certifications
- Strong academic background in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field
- IAM Certificate and/or Diploma preferred, with progress towards chartership or other relevant professional certifications
Project Management and Delivery
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects, delivering on time, and within budget
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to balance competing priorities effectively
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to identifying and securing business opportunities in new and existing markets
Communication and Leadership
- Excellent written, presentation, influencing and communication skills
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and inspire team members
Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities
- Strong analytical skills and a track record of delivering high-quality outputs for clients
- Experience with complex problem-solving in consulting or asset-intensive organisations
