An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Connect Teams as a Senior Connect Officer - Data & Analytics.
Handelsbanken Branch, Broker, Customer and Digital Connect are a collection of teams that work alongside the branch network to support our Individual Banking and Corporate customers. As the team has grown to accommodate a wider range of services, this role supports the respective Heads gather and utilise data to build insight, deliver process improvements and help shape their respective propositions. You will be expected to develop and lead on output that can be used in a variety of internal and bank wide stakeholder conversations to demonstrate team/individual performance and business value across our teams. In addition you will be tasked with maximising our operational efficiencies through the use of data and analytics across our processes and support with the launch of new Broker services into the Branch network.
Main Responsibilities
- Liaison with the Heads of the Connect teams, branches, internal departments and external counter-parties to ensure the highest level of customer service are achieved.
- Supporting change projects and activities across the department, where data, analysis and reporting is required.
- Ensuring high quality, accurate and timely management information and reporting is produced for stakeholders, ranging from ExCo level through to daily operational MI to support the Connect function.
- Use data, analysis and reporting to support the UKC Efficiency team with the identification & analysis and secondly support implementation of streamlined processes within Branch Connect.
- Work with and develop a small number of MI/Data SME's within the Connect teams by providing support, guidance and mentoring in their data and analytics related responsibilities.
- Ensure data governance, management policies and best practice are followed.
- Support the Heads of the Connect teams by using data and analytics to ensure resources across the teams are appropriately managed / staffed accordingly, particularly during busy periods of the year.
- Actively promotes and ensures adherence to the Bank's Risk Management framework and specifically uses Data to enhance the current Quality Assurance and Skills Matrix processes across the Connect team

- Excellent analytical, reasoning and numerical skills, with a close attention to detail.
- Prior experience of producing MI, reporting and data insights from a range of data sources.
- Skilled at manipulating and analysing varied and large data sets.
- Ability to communicate analytical findings and data analyses to stakeholders with differing levels of expertise and seniority, ideally with prior experience in producing management MI and reporting.
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate with stakeholders to understand requirements with team members to provide support and guidance.
- Enthusiastic and dynamic self-starter
- Strong customer service ethic
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a number of tasks.
- Have high ethical and moral standards
- Be innovative and proactive
- Have good administrative order including adherence to all risk and compliance policies.

- Be vigilant and of a questioning nature during the review of various systems and data sources to identify and assess 'red flags' and areas of concern.
- Understanding and experience of Customer/Branch Connect and/or the Branch Network would be advantageous.
The team will work closely together to build this business and the applicant must be assertive, flexible, proactive and conscientious with a positive attitude and be a strong team player.
