We are currently recruiting for a Senior Compensation & Benefits Analyst vacancy. This is an excellent opportunity to join us at a skilled level in a division that drives the business forwards through providing a best in class service to our employees!

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Partner with Directors and HR Managers to deliver compensation and benefits services, ensuring adherence to STERIS policy and practices.
  • Serves as internal compensation subject matter expert and educates and informs the organization about STERIS compensation policies and practices and makes recommendations based on internal and external sources/best practice.
  • Leads and manages compensation projects across allocated countries, global salary survey submissions, and compensation studies (e.g. structure development and implementation, integrations, re-organizations). Models costs and employee impact analysis and drives implementation of approved changes.
  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of international assignments, including relocations, repatriations, and localizations.
  • Partner with relocation vendors to ensure effective service delivery and support for business stakeholders and employees.
  • Ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations in all relevant jurisdictions.
  • Utilize strong working knowledge of employee compensation and benefits to assist in the design, planning and administration of corporate employee compensation and benefit programs including medical, life insurance, pension, group income protection programs etc.
  • Compiles, analyzes, and interprets data to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness and makes recommendations.
  • Models' costs and employee impact analysis and drives implementation of approved changes. Prepare cost analysis of employee health and welfare benefits including calculating annual benefit premiums, employee contributions.
  • Evaluates positions for grade placement based on the content of the job and various salary survey sources. Compare jobs internally for internal equity and make recommendations for grade level changes.
  • Conduct periodic audits of Compensation data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Responsibilities include annual renewals and contracts, tracking cost trends, recommending plan changes to ensure they remain competitive and cost-effective. Develop, produce, and distribute ongoing employee health and welfare plan communications such as summary plan descriptions, benefit bulletins, etc.
  • Work with outside vendors on plan modifications, communications, and annual renewals.
  • Knowledge of Sales Incentive plans, Implementation, Benchmarking

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years Compensation & Benefits experience with at least 3 years progressive Compensation analysis experience.
  • Global Mobility experience required.
  • Global Compensation experience required.
  • Data Market Analyst and Job Evaluation experience required.
  • Business, operational, and organizational savvy
  • Complex analytical person; confidential, analytical, and attentive to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; presentation skills/business presence
  • Experience in sales incentive programs a plus
  • Strong analytical skills with good working knowledge of systems and workflows
  • Computer skills: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
