We are looking for a Community Engagement Manager to help deliver Lime's policy and public affairs work in London. You will report to the Director of Policy for the UK and Ireland.
You will lead our efforts in building strong relationships with the communities Lime serves in London. The ideal candidate will have experience working directly with community groups and the public.
Lime operates a flexible working policy. The role is based in London and will require travel across the city to meet with different community groups and organisations. On occasion it may also require you to host or attend events outside of working hours.
What you'll do:
- Community engagement strategies: Develop and deliver comprehensive community engagement strategies to help achieve favourable business outcomes for Lime.
- Campaigns and events: Plan and deliver successful community campaigns and events to create influential third party advocates.
- Relationship building: Build and maintain strategic partnerships with relevant community leaders, local organisations and stakeholders in London.
- Collaborate closely with other Lime team members on operations, media engagement and marketing
- Work closely with the wider local policy team to identify growth opportunities and any risks or upcoming policy challenges for Lime.
About you:
- 5+ years related experience leading or working in community engagement, government affairs, public policy and campaigns.
- Experience designing and implementing public affairs strategies to successfully deliver business goals
- Excellent internal and external communication skills
- Ability to work independently and deliver accurate, high quality outputs at speed
- Existing transport, government, and advocacy contacts and relationships in the UK (Desirable)
- Strong understanding of local London politics (Desirable)
