Temporary contract until 31st March 2025 | £41,173 to £45,442 per annum (Scale K) | 37 hours per week | County Hall

We're looking for a Senior Communications Officer to join our award-winning communications team, working at the heart of Norfolk County Council.

This role will lead the communications for our Local First Inclusion programme - Norfolk County Council's programme to transform learning for children with special educational needs and disabilities. The aim of the programme is to ensure more children can learn near to their homes and communities, by supporting inclusion in mainstream education and developing more specialist places.

We're searching for someone enthusiastic and self-motivated, with a real skill for strategic communications, stakeholder management and media relations.

This is a hybrid role with a minimum of two days per week in our Norwich office.
