Your team: The Broadcasting Digital team are responsible for all video, social and web content created for our brands TalkSport, Virgin Radio UK, TImes Radio, Talk and Piers Morgan Uncensored. Working closely with our editorial colleagues, this covers everything from long-form features to short reactive clips and is essential in building our audiences and driving revenue.

Your role: Commercial partnerships are a key part of our business and this role will take responsibility for the planning and delivery of those projects. Working closely with editorial, strategy, design and our in-house studio teams, you will develop ideas for videos, create timelines, select and book talent, write scripts and brief crew and guests to ensure everything on the day runs smoothly. Primarily focused on talkSPORT, an interest in football and ideally boxing are essential, and experience of working on commercial projects preferred.

Day to day you will:

  • Liaise closely with the commercial sales team on new briefs
  • Ideate original concepts for commercial social video content and be able to write these up and present them to both internal and external clients
  • Create and manage production budgets for individual projects
  • Work closely with editorial to ensure commercial projects feel native while still hitting client KPIs
  • Create and work to timelines with regular updates on milestones
  • Suggest and book talent to appear in shows, liaising with agents and negotiating fees
  • Write scripts where appropriate and prepare queue cards and autocue notes where appropriate
  • Attend shoots if on location, plan and run the itinerary of the day
  • Brief the filming crew and ensure set-ups are as you want them
  • Oversee the final edit and take responsibility for delivery of versions and manage approvals appropriately

What we're looking for from you:

  • Follow the sports news agenda closely and be completely across the latest stories and trends
  • Fully immerse yourself in talkSPORT, Virgin Radio, Times Radio and Talk and be completely familiar with our presenters, schedule and platform analytics
  • Have direct experience of working in a similar role as a content producer either in-house or agency side, ideally with commercial experience
  • You have a go-to black book of industry contacts
  • You are incredibly proactive, restless and driven to get things done, we work fast!
  • Unflappable under pressure with an ability to multitask across multiple projects and react quickly if things change
