What you'll do

We're recruiting for a Senior Commercial Finance Manager to join our Enterprise & Wholesale Finance team at Vodafone UK. The Enterprise & Wholesale team delivers a large sum of revenue, offering both mobile & fixed services covering 1,500 accounts, including some of the biggest household names across the UK and globally.

As a Senior Commercial Finance Manager, you will be accountable for all traditional FP&A activity within Vodafone Business and managing key relationships into UK CFO, Head of FP&A, Business Director and Head of Commercial; as well as owning the structural margin optimisation plan and delivering standardised COS insight and reporting for the sales segments. The individual will be pivotal in driving and shaping the future growth of the Business segment which is targeted as a key growth area for Vodafone UK and Vodafone Business Globally.

Wider responsibilities will also include:

• Provide full financial accuracy & transparency, meaningful and value add financial insight into performance, and providing high quality commercial analysis ensuring the Business is well placed to evolve the shape and financial transformation of the organisation.
• Provide appropriate management information, KPI's and insight to articulate financial performance/current trends and demonstrate opportunity to optimise financial performance across a range of scenarios.
• Lead on RF, MMP, 9+15 & LRP; ensure plans are aligned with the overall Business strategy & ambition.
• Becoming a trusted advisor and partner to Business Director to execute in line with VFB strategy. Advising on and taking decisions at pace. Supporting and challenging appropriately.
• Holding sales segments and enabling functions to account on achieving against financial performance targets. Taking personal ownership to deliver against Business targets.
• Leading 4 Commercial Finance Managers and becoming a key contributor to wider Business Finance leadership team agenda including performance coaching, people development, talent management, D&I, driving engagement.

Who you are

• Aptitude for building relationships and to influence at all levels of seniority and across functions.
• Range of Finance/Commercial experiences with evidence of driving commercial performance
• Fully qualified preferred (CIMA, ACA, ACMA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving capability.
