We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Manager to join our UK Small & Medium Business Team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in account management, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. A background in sales or account management, along with experience in the FMCG sector or equivalent, and an appreciation of NielsenIQ and/or competitor products, services, and data, is essential.

Key Priorities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.

• Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and business objectives.

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and resolving any issues that arise.

• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client requirements.

• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

• Prepare and present regular reports on account performance and progress to senior management.

• Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability and ensure mutual benefit.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior account managers and other team members.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience working with SMB brands, FMCG, or CPG.

• Extensive understanding of the challenges and needs faced by FMCG manufacturers and retailers.

• Background in direct sales, sales development, or account management, with a desire to join a fantastic global company offering significant progression potential.

• Ideally, experience in the FMCG sector or equivalent, with an appreciation of NielsenIQ and/or competitor products, services, and data.

• Preferably, a strong understanding of data, insights, and category marketing, either from an agency or client background.
