Job Description

What will you be doing?

We are seeking a skilled CNC Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in CNC programming and Siemens PLC systems (840C or 840D).You will join our Daventry team to support our activities within the Automotive sector.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Program, write, and re-write CNC systems, ensuring seamless operations.
• Apply DFMEA for root cause analysis and process improvements.
• Work with controls, hardware, and components, ensuring all systems function harmoniously.
• Listen to harmonics to diagnose and improve machine performance.
• Collaborate with suppliers for tooling procurement and manage supplier relationships effectively.
• Provide technical support on tooling and cutting processes, optimizing performance and durability.
• Implement continuous improvement strategies, including 5S, Kaizen, and Lean manufacturing to enhance production efficiency.

Qualifications

Experience, skills and qualifications required:

• Proven experience in CNC Manufacturing Engineering with expertise in CNC programming.
• Familiarity with Siemens PLC systems (840C or 840D).
• Strong understanding of DFMEA and root cause analysis.
• Experience with tooling and cutting processes is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, and Lean manufacturing principles.
