Job summary

Are you known for being highly organised with great time management, admin and communication skills? We need someone to help keep our exciting new project on track!

From our central Norwich base (80 St Stephens), we are building a new team to work on sleep and youth mental health in Norfolk and Waveney and are looking for a Senior Clinical Team Administrator to support us on a full time basis.

We are a small, newly-formed and friendly team looking for someone to play a core role in the team to allow us to deliver the best service possible. We aim to combine the flexibility of working remotely with a strong team ethos and really value our monthly in-person meetings. We are committed to developing and sharing our expertise in sleep and empowering others to take these ideas forward to improve their service offer.

We have ambitious plans and will be rolling out an intensive programme of training and supervision in the sleep intervention we have developed (The Better Sleep Programme), offering half-day workshops and general awareness raising across a range of stakeholders, working with colleagues to adapt the intervention for specific clinical populations and supporting clinical research.

We'd really love to hear from you if you have extensive administrative experience and enjoy a varied workload!

Main duties of the job

You will be overseeing data collection from practitioners delivering the intervention, maintaining the main project database and alerting the project lead to any risks around data quality. You will also be generating monthly and quarterly reports of activity and six monthly reports of outcomes. Good MS Excel and PowerPoint skills are therefore an essential requirement for the post and will be assessed at interview.

We are also looking for someone who is a good communicator, able to respond to enquiries from the public and professionals and to liaise with key stakeholders in a professional manner.

You will be providing administrative support to the project lead and helping develop realistic schedules for project workstreams to ensure the wider project stays on track and delivers its goals.

We welcome applications from people who enjoy working as part of a small, committed team with a clear focus. Someone who can share ideas and show initiative whilst understanding the wider remit of the project and the values guiding us. The whole team will mostly be working remotely so we keep in close contact throughout the week and value meeting once a month for a half-day team meeting in Norwich which you would be expected to attend.

Here at NSFT we pride ourselves on being a welcoming, talented, friendly and supportive team who like nothing better than sharing experiences and learning from each other. In addition to ongoing training and development opportunities, we are committed to providing an environment in which you can thrive.
