Qualifications

Essential criteria

• Relevant degree in science or health-related discipline
• Research interest
• Experience in Clinical Research

Desirable criteria

• ECDL or equivalent research qualification

Training and experience

Essential criteria

• Working in a clinical or patient facing environment
• Research experience
• Experience of working towards deadlines
• Experience of dealing with busy workload

Desirable criteria

• Experience of working in the NHS
• Data management experience
• Evidence of CPD

Skills and Abilities

Essential criteria

• Confidentiality/knowledge of patient information systems
• Clinical skills - venepuncture
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate people management

Desirable criteria

• Knowledge of information governance
• Evidence of IT training - use of spreadsheet

Knowledge

• Understanding of clinical research
• GCP
