Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Degree/Diploma in Nursing
- Evidence of relevant post-registration training/CPD
- NMC Registration
Desirable criteria
- Good Clinical Practice certificate
- Research experience, or experience in haematology/haematology-oncology
- Mentorship training
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Understanding of clinical research
- Knowledge of ICH-Good Clinical Practice regulations
- Knowledge of NHS systems and processes
- Knowledge of evidence-based practice
- Knowledge of clinical governance
- Ability to manage difficult situations and conflict resolution
- Ability to work within Trust policies (data protection, equal opportunities, health and safety)
- Understanding of complex medical, social, and psychological needs of patients
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge of clinical and research governance
- Knowledge of current health policy and its relevance to healthcare delivery
Experience

- Significant experience working in a clinical environment within the NHS
- Proven ability to meet deadlines
