Person specification

Qualifications

Essential criteria

• 4 years master degree or equivalent
• Member of GPhC
• Post Graduate Clinical Diploma

Desirable criteria

• Independent Prescribing Qualification

Experience

Essential criteria

• Previous Hospital Pharmacy experience
• Previous Mental Health experience
• Experience of Managing Staff
• Delivery of training at post graduate level
• MDT working

Knowledge

Essential criteria

• Have knowledge of clinical governance, clinical audit and risk management
• Have up to date knowledge of mental health therapeutics
• Have knowledge of primary and secondary care

Skills

Essential criteria

• Have the ability to interpret and communicate highly complex data
• Have the ability to manage change

Other requirements

Essential criteria

• Cope with conflicting pressures/ deadlines Excellent written / verbal communication skills
• Ability to motivate, negotiate and influence
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with broad range of disciplines
