This post is for a Senior Clinical Fellow in Emergency Medicine. This is a permanent, whole time post offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Medic to join a dynamic, rapidly expanding team delivering multidisciplinary acute care in Broomfield Hospital.

Main duties of the job
Contribute to the Emergency service at Broomfield Hospitalparticipating in the initial assessment, treatment, referral, and disposition of patients attending the Emergency Department.
Work a shift pattern including weekends and night shifts. Tailored job plan to personal needs can be discussed at the interview.
Develop skills in managing the department to avoid unnecessary patient waits and maintain good clinical care to all patients.
To participate in clinical audit and activities.
To participate in continuing professional development. Study leave is actively encouraged and there is significant financial support for appropriate courses.

Experience
Essential criteria
- Evidence of thorough and broad training and experience in the specialty.
- Supporting information demonstrates good knowledge of the structures and culture of the NHS, roles and responsibilities
- Demonstrable experience in Emergency medicine at SHO/ST or SPR level
Desirable criteria
- NHS experience
