Even though these posts are not recognised for training by London Deanery they provide excellent training opportunities. You are expected to keep a training portfolio, to have regular assessments with an allocated educational supervisor and to demonstrate progression in the field of Paediatrics during your tenure.

Education
Essential criteria
- MB BS or Equivalent
- Full medical registration
- MRCPCH or MCEM
Desirable criteria
- BSc
Skills and knowledge
Essential criteria
- Competencies relevant to completion of Foundation training
- Competencies relevant to completion of ST1-3 training (or equivalent
- Experience working within multi-disciplinary teams
- Enthusiasm for teaching, both undergraduate and post-graduate
- Child protection experience/training
- EPLS or APLS
- Competent in full range of paediatric practical skills
Desirable criteria
- Experience of Paediatric sedation in ED
- Paediatric orthopaedic or surgical experience
- PICU or Anaesthetic experience
Experience

- Completed Foundation training or equivalent
- Previous paediatric experience
Desirable criteria
- Previous experience working at middle grade level
