Education and Qualifications

Essential criteria

  • Full GMC registration with licence to practice
  • MBBS or equivalent

Desirable criteria

  • MRCOG
  • Gynaecological ultrasound intermediate competencies

Personal qualities

Essential criteria

  • General medical procedures and skills appropriate to grade
  • Strong team player
  • Cope in a pressured environment
  • Kind, affable and resilient

Desirable criteria

  • Evidence of participation in clinical audit and research

Experience

Essential criteria

  • 12 months middle grade/Registrar-level experience in NHS O&G practice
  • Competences signed off for nonrotational forceps and rotational vacuum delivery
