Job overview

This is a Senior Clinical Fellow post for 6 months in Hepatobiliary and Liver transplant Anaesthesia based at the Royal Free Hospital. The post holder will join an existing pool of numbered trainees who are taking part in a comprehensive ST3+ (specialist trainee year 3 and above) training program in anaesthesia and intensive care medicine.

This rarely available post has been created to fill an unforeseen gap within an established rota. There will be opportunity to develop skills in research, quality improvement, teaching and training.

• GMC registration
• Strong oral and written communications skills in English
• MBBS (or equivalent)

Desirable criteria

• Full Primary FRCA
• ALS
• ATLS

Anaesthetic knowledge, skills and experience

Essential criteria

• 2 years experience in Anaesthesia or/and ICU at CT1/2 level
• Logbook evidence of experience

Desirable criteria

• Experience of ERAS pathways
• Able to deal with general emergency admissions
• Experience in managing acute pain
