Person specification

Application

Essential criteria

  • MB ChB or equivalent qualification
  • MRCOG part 1 or equivalent
  • Should have completed at least 2 years' full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time of flexible basis) at middle grade level
  • Competence in managing emergency Obstetrics and Gynaecology cases as second on call with non-resident consultant cover.

Desirable criteria

  • MRCOG
  • At least six months of experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in UK

Interview

  • MRCOG part 1 or equivalent

  • Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively eg. Report-writing, writing guidelines/protocols.
