Northlands Veterinary Group (NVG) have a rare and exciting opportunity for an established clinical leader to join their team as Senior Clinical Director.

We are looking for someone with the skills and experience to drive a team, set clinical strategy and standards, and continue to offer the excellent veterinary care Northlands Vets are known for.

About us:

NVG have been providing veterinary care for pets in Northamptonshire for over three decades; the group has expanded and now has five branches in addition to their 24-hour Small Animal Veterinary Hospital.

NVG is a forward thinking, modern practice which prides itself on being people and patient focused. Equipped with superb facilities including a brand-new state of the art hospital, CT Scanner, excellent team facilities and dedicated out of hours provision.

The Role:

As Senior Clinical Director, working over multiple sites, you will have overarching responsibility for the clinical provision for the group. Working alongside an experienced business leader you will manage a team of senior vets and branch heads. You will set clinical strategy and standards; and be responsible for driving clinical excellence. Working with departmental leads, your role will identify areas for development, support teams in service delivery and create opportunities for expansion.

Day to day responsibilities include leading a team of senior vets across the group, running the clinical provision at the hospital, and managing your own clinical case load. You will meet regularly with business leaders to help shape strategy and build on opportunities for business development.

You will have overarching responsibility for clinical direction, governance, and standards. This includes management of the out of hours clinical provision - though no night work is expected.

You will be expected to work closely with the Business Development Director for Vet Partners and will be supported by a highly skilled Leadership and RVN Team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader to really make an impact in this Senior Leadership position with clinical autonomy and the delivery of an outstanding service

The Person:

We are looking for a confident, dynamic and people focused leader, who has experience of clinical management. A highly organised, positive and proactive individual who is quick to adapt and deliver results and will excel in overseeing our practices providing guidance, support, vision and leadership.

The successful candidate must be a confident, highly skilled clinician who has proved experience in clinical decision making, developing clinical team members, and appraising clinical provision.

We are looking for a compassionate leader; who sees their success as that of their teams; the ability to communicate well with people and clients is essential, as is the ability to prioritise and delegate where required.

Working Pattern:

We understand that life does not always fit into Monday-Friday, therefore we are happy to consider any working pattern, though we do envisage this as a full-time role.

You will be expected to participate in a weekend rota.

**Packages in the region of £70-100k**
