What will your day look like:
As an FNOL Senior Claims Handler, you'll be at the forefront of our claims process, ensuring swift and accurate handling of claims from the very beginning. Here's a glimpse into your daily responsibilities:
Assisting Managers with Diary Tasks: Collaborate closely with our management team to manage schedules, appointments, and critical deadlines. Your organizational skills will shine as you keep everything running smoothly.
• Validating Claims Against Policy Information:
Dive into the details! You'll meticulously review claims submitted by policyholders, ensuring they align with policy terms. Your expertise will play a crucial role in verifying indemnity and accuracy.
Maintaining Claims Allocation:
Efficiently distribute claims within our team. Timely allocation ensures that each claim receives prompt attention and appropriate handling.
Managing Diary and Post Allocations:
Handle incoming correspondence related to claims processing. Prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and ensure seamless communication.
Monthly Audits and 121 Meetings:
Conduct regular audits to assess team performance, adherence to processes, and compliance. One-on-one meetings with team members allow for feedback, growth, and alignment.
Staff Training:
Contribute to the professional development of your team. Provide training sessions on claims handling procedures, customer service, and technical skills.
Knowledge and Abilities:
Motor Claims Experience:
Your familiarity with motor insurance claims is essential. Understanding vehicle-related incidents, repair processes, and liability assessments will set you up for success.
Computer Literacy and CQ Understanding:
Comfort with technology and a good grasp of claims management systems (such as CQ) are crucial. Efficient data entry, document management, and communication rely on these skills.
Influence and Relationship Management:
Interact effectively with stakeholders, including policyholders, loss adjusters, and legal professionals. Your positive communication and empathy matter.
Problem-Solving and Prioritization:
Navigate conflicting demands with a proactive approach. Keep team priorities aligned even in challenging situations.

Clear verbal communication and active listening are essential when dealing with customers, colleagues, and external experts.
