Job Description
To deliver CDM and H&S consultancy services from our Bristol office to existing and new clients. The scope of services delivered by the role-holder are flexible, dependent upon the Client's requirements, covering both CDM and H&S Management.
The key requirements of the role are to understand the Clients' needs and proactively identify solutions to their challenges and ensure consistent delivery of service excellence in meeting their needs and expectations.
Understand and develop existing systems and processes to improve both CDM and H&S efficiency.
Provide expert advice and where required, act as Principal Designer and help the client manage and understand their legal responsibilities, in accordance with CDM regulations.
Establishing positive relations with existing and new Clients to gain confidence and become a trusted advocate.
Representing Turner & Townsend in a professional and diligent manner including meeting, negotiating, and corresponding with Clients in a timely manner.
Management of all commissions, where responsibility is assigned, to ensure both Client's expectations / scope of service and the requirements of Turner & Townsend's business management system are effectively discharged.
Carrying out H&S performance reviews, audits etc. on behalf of the Client.
Liaise, proactively and professionally, with SHQ, and wider Turner & Townsend colleagues to contribute to team effectiveness; support others as needed and ensure consistency, quality and profitability of shared projects.
Compiling and creating relevant pre-construction information and relevant H&S files.

- Experience of a diverse range of industry sectors desired, with a proven ability to meet Clients needs would be an advantage.
- Experience as a Principal Designer would be an advantage-(Essential)
Education and Professional Qualifications
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate - (Essential)
- Full UK driving licence - (Essential)
- NEBOSH Diploma Level (or equivalent) -(Desired)
- GradIOSH or equivalent - (Desired)
- Membership of the APS - (Desired)
