Serving up a career in catering... Senior Catering Assistant
£25,470 - £26,583 per annum
37 hours per week/ 30 weeks per year; working hours between 07:30 and 18:00 on a rota basis - This post is mainly based at our City campus (term time only)
About the Role
- We operate over 4 campuses, 7 days a week so a flexible approach to working hour, and location, is essential.
- We offer a range of modern food and beverage concepts, including barista style cafes, 'Deli' bars, 'Grab and Go' products alongside a variety of freshly prepared hot dishes.
- You'll be a friendly, approachable person who strives to deliver fantastic customer service and maximise sales potential.
- Ideally, you'll have supervisory experience of working in a fast paced, customer facing, retail environment but it's not essential.
- Duties include supporting the assistant manager in organising and managing a number of outlets, controlling stock, allocating duties to team members and ensuring all standards are maintained.
- As a role model for the team you will support the team as required and be the first point of contact for them.
- Working with food it is important to maintain good hygiene standards, adhering to all health, safety and departmental standards and procedures, ideally you will have good awareness and knowledge in this area.
