ABOUT THE JOB.

Join us on a mission to become the go-to Category Partner for Frozen Potato and frozen food. We thrive on curiosity, harnessing insights from diverse data sources to craft strategies that drive growth for both McCain and our cherished customers. Collaborating with internal and external partners, we turn these insights into actionable plans that set the stage for success. Elevating McCain's leadership in the category, we create impactful collateral, champion strategic initiatives, and continuously enhance our operational excellence.

Reporting into the Director, Category (Retail) you will also be responsible for...

• Deep diving into market and consumer data to uncover hidden opportunities. Translating your findings into actionable insights that drive decision-making
• Collaborating closely with our sales team to supercharge the performance of our priority product ranges. Your goal: improve distribution and ensure we meet our commercial targets.
• Become a trusted partner to our valued customers. Build strong relationships with key contacts and use your influence to shape the future of the frozen potato and core categories. Engage in dynamic Category Reviews, Range Reviews, and New Product Presentations.
• Seek out unique opportunities to introduce groundbreaking initiatives within our strategic partner customer base.
• Contribute to McCain's commercial strategy development and own the creation of strategies and presentations that breathe life into our vision for customers, operators, and shoppers.
• Take the helm on projects that create valuable category collateral, enhance our operations, and open doors to exciting new business prospects.

We need someone who understands the ins and outs of category management, who can navigate the challenges and capitalise on the opportunities in the retail industry. Your expertise in this field will be the driving force behind our success, as you strategically plan and execute initiatives to maximize growth and drive customer satisfaction.

• A knack for unravelling data mysteries, spotting trends, and presenting your conclusions and recommendations with confidence. Your experience in the retail process and your deep understanding of data analysis make you an invaluable asset.
• Strong communication with excellent presentation skills, you'll have no trouble conveying complex information in a captivating way.
• Project management is second nature to you. You effortlessly handle multiple tasks, ensuring they're completed on time and to the highest standards.
