Qualifications

Essential criteria

  • Either - RMN / RN Child / Social Worker / Clinical Psychologist / Occupational Therapist

Desirable criteria

  • Qualifications in Psychotherapeutic approaches e.g. CBT
  • IAPT qualification and/or accreditation
  • Mentorship course ENB998 or equivalent
  • Research & audit
  • Relevant Post grad / masters

Registration

Essential criteria

  • You must be registered with a professional body

Experience

Essential criteria

  • Experience of working effectively with people with mental health difficulties
  • Experience of assessing and managing risk: including safeguarding
  • Experience of providing evidenced based assessments, formulations and treatment packages to children, young people and families
  • Experience of liaison and working with a range of other relevant agencies
  • Experience of providing evidenced based assessments, formulations and treatment packages
  • Experience of caseload management working within a multi-disciplinary mental health setting
  • Community mental health experience
  • Experience of mentoring and supervision of others
  • Demonstrable understanding of Clinical Governance

Desirable criteria

  • Experience of working in Child and Adolescent Mental Health
