Job Description
We are looking for a talented Senior Buying Specialist to join our team for our Purchasing Department in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom.
This role is offered as a hybrid position.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Purchase Order Management: Responsible for raising and receiving purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate procurement transactions.
- RFQ Execution: Manages Request for Quotations (RFQs), supporting competitive sourcing and supplier selection processes.
- Indirect Purchasing Support: Provides procurement support for indirect purchasing needs, particularly for European Tractions, ensuring alignment with regional requirements.
- Supplier Engagement: Builds and maintains strong relationships with suppliers through regular meetings and communications, fostering collaboration and performance.
- Issue Resolution: Proactively identifies and mitigates procurement-related issues to maintain continuity and quality in supply chain operations.
- Project Collaboration: Participates in project calls and contributes to cross-functional initiatives, ensuring procurement alignment with broader business goals.
- Global Supplier Coordination: Works on global projects involving suppliers across regions, supporting strategic sourcing and procurement excellence.
- Logistics Support for VPI Programs: Provides logistical and procurement support for Value Package Introduction (VPI) programs, contributing to successful product launches.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
Education/ Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Proven experience in the automotive industry, with a strong understanding of sector-specific standards and practices.
- Familiarity with eAxle and traction products, including sourcing and supplier engagement.
- Hands-on experience supporting VPI (Value Package Introduction) or NPI (New Product Introduction) programs.
