Senior Business Support Officer - Grade 6 (£32,925 - £33,957)

We have an exciting recruitment opportunity for two Grade 6 Business Support Officers within the ASCH business support service. These will be crucial roles in supporting the delivery of the Business Support model across all services within ASCH.

We are seeking to recruit two skilled and experienced business support officers who have knowledge and experience to provide support to teams dealing with the vulnerable adults and their families across adult care, health and housing services. These will be demanding but equally rewarding positions, in not only providing support to teams working in these areas but also direct telephone contact with customers and providers to help resolve and guide on related issues.

The roles:

• Providing support across various teams within ASCH. It is likely, one will be based in adult care, and the other based across health, and commissioning.

• Ensuring all information held is accurate and all relevant databases are maintained.

• Processing very high volumes with tight deadlines.

• Providing first point of contact to customers giving advice and guidance on related matters to the service you are supporting.

• Preparation of meeting information, taking and producing minutes of meetings.

• Managing generic mailbox enquiries.

• Processing a high volume of invoices which require meticulous verification.

• Preparation and distribution of documents and information for the various services supported.

• Providing cross-cover to all services supported by Business Support to ASCH.

You must have:

• An understanding of the requirements of working in a business support environment.

• An understanding of the requirements of working in a large organisation.

• Excellent Word and Excel skills

• Skills in using databases. Knowledge of LAS, and of Finance and payment systems would be an advantage.

• The ability to advise customers, and respond sensitively and appropriately to all contacts and enquiries

• A high attention to detail and confidentiality in dealing with vulnerable customers and distributing sensitive information

• Able to work on own initiative and meet deadlines

• Excellent organisation and prioritising skills
