Job Opportunity: Senior Business Operations Analyst - SC Cleared

Location: Southampton
Contract: 12-month Fixed Term

About the Role:

You will join a leading Defence Consultancy within their Defence Business Unit as a Senior Business Operations Analyst. Working with the Defence Business Operations Manager, you will drive the successful delivery of their Integrated Business Plan (IBP), transform their operating model, and enhance overall efficiency and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning & Alignment: Optimize business operations to achieve strategic objectives. Communicate strategy, report progress, and measure outcomes.
• Leadership Support: Assist the Business Unit Director and Senior Leadership Team in defining and executing strategic priorities.
• Management Information: Prepare and deliver operational performance analytics. Coordinate risk management processes.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee continuous improvement initiatives.
• Business Services Interface: Coordinate engagement with other directorates to support strategic and operational commitments.
• Resource Management: Lead workforce and capacity planning, ensuring resource demands are met.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in developing and implementing business operations processes.
• Strong communication skills with a proactive approach.
• Ability to work independently and deliver clear business outcomes.
• Experience in a busy business operations environment.

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques.
• Minimum of 3 years' P3M experience in customer-facing roles.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform applications.
