Role purpose:
As Senior Business Manager to the CEO office you play a critical role underpinning the effectiveness of the CEO and General Management Team (GMT). Acting as a trusted advisor your role enables the successful day-to-day operation of the GMT and the execution of its strategic priorities.
Your role will ensure _VOIS continues to drive business growth and delivers operational excellence. You will manage CEO-level governance, support strategic decision-making, create & maintain effective cross-functional working, and assume responsibility for the smooth running of the CEO office. You will ensure strategic alignment across the wider organisation working across the senior leadership community in VOIS and with senior stakeholders from across the wider Vodafone business.
Reporting directly to the _VOIS CEO, you will need to collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyse and understand critical data underpinning business performance, and provide insights to support the delivery of business growth and the strategic objectives for VOIS. This role requires a highly capable, motivated, energised, and flexible leader who has both breadth and depth of telecoms knowledge and business understanding.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
1. Strategic Planning, Governance and Execution:
o Manage all CEO-level governance, coordinating with other executive teams across Vodafone and with the Group ExCo office as required.
o Work closely with the VOIS CEO to define strategic initiatives and ensure their execution. Taking responsibility for delivery of strategic goals where appropriate/required.
o Help develop business plans, set objectives, and establish business tracking and performance monitoring to ensure operational excellence.
o Provide consultancy and advice to the CEO and/or GMT and identify growth opportunities through analysis of key business data points, recommending actionable steps.

2. Business Analysis and Insights:
o Clarifies and shapes leadership agendas and meetings, ensuring smooth governance, productive engagement and continued strategic delivery.
o Provide data-driven insights and facilitate clear and quick decision making enabling smooth implementation.
o Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on business performance.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
o Collaborate with senior VOIS functional leaders (IT, Finance, HR, etc.) to align business goals and ensure delivery remains aligned through the fiscal year.
o Ensure a regular and structured flow of project reports and updates for CEO & GMT.
o Create and manage required GMT documentation and communications.

4. Financial Management:
o Coordinate cross functional governance including, but not limited to, budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost optimisation activities.
o Where required evaluate investment opportunities and support risk management assessments working closely with senior leaders from the relevant functions.

5. Stakeholder Management:
o Act as a liaison point and engage with internal and external stakeholders across all levels of seniority including clients, partners, and vendors. Always engaging in a clear, professional, and strategically consistent way.
o Build strong relationships and represent VOIS in relevant forums.

6. Change Management and Innovation:
o Support, facilitate, & drive VOIS organizational change initiatives.
o Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and improvement.

Who you are

Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:
• Strong communication and presentation skills with proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
• Very structured, and comfortable holding senior leadership to defined structures
• Able to understand, summarise, and communicate complex strategic topics at an executive level
• Able to work pro-actively and independently on a day-to-day basis with minimum guidance
• Experience of complex multinational organisational structures. Experience in working in virtual and matrixed multinational teams, with proven record of delivering goals in complex, global, matrix organisations
• Able to manage multiple & changing priorities and take accountability for decisions made
• High attention to detail and demonstrable business acumen
• Able to maintain high levels of discretion and confidentiality

Must have technical / professional qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
• Proven experience (5+ years) in business management, strategy, or consulting at a senior / Exec level
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, data interpretation, and problem-solving.
• Familiarity with project management, transformation and business improvement methodologies (e.g. agile, six sigma)
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint, Word and Excel

Nice to have skills:
• Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprise (SAFe)
• Facilitation qualification
• Online collaboration & facilitation expertise
• Coaching experience
