Qualifications

Essential criteria

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience.

Desirable criteria

  • Business and / or project management qualification.

KNOWLEDGE

Essential criteria

  • Specialist knowledge and experience of performance management, information systems, project/programme and business management.
  • Knowledge and working experience of MFT.
  • Familiar with GM health and social care more broadly.
  • Informed about the NHS and current national, regional and local strategies and policies.
  • Knowledge and experience of managing staff within a healthcare setting.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

Essential criteria

  • Management of resources with a recent history of involvement with change processes, efficiency savings and project management.
  • Experience of developing and maintaining effective partnerships with stakeholders.
  • Experience of project management, report writing and imaginative planning.
  • Experience of managing staff.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.

Desirable criteria

  • An understanding of effective systems for integrated governance and the management of clinical and non-clinical risks.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to consider 'the wider picture.'
