Whether you join the MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) and Fixed Connectivity team or the Wholesale Mobile Solutions and Carrier Services team, you'll find the work we do is extremely varied and offers plenty of exciting career opportunities.

What you'll do

The Senior Business Development & Sales Manager, Wholesale role is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategy and GTM plan for sustainable and profitable growth, achieving addressable market share, moving Vodafone UK WS through parity with market to market leader. Key accountabilities include:

  • Develop, implement and execute sales strategy and GTM plan for sustainable and profitable growth
  • Continuous build of pipeline - new logos and customer acquisition upsell
  • Conversion of pipeline to Growth DB
  • Develop and implement target and commission plans ongoing, working with key stakeholders
  • Support pricing strategies by advising on market dynamics ongoing
  • Support customer buying and service portal development on going
  • Manage key stakeholders internal and across Vodafone UK business working with Wholesale leadership team
  • Develop and engage relationships across strategic target customer stakeholders/Exec
  • Build the partner ecosystem in supply chain and customer market, developing partner programme with marketing
  • Oversee implementation, and adherence to sales methodology, coach and develop sales team ongoing
  • Working with commercial ongoing development according to business objectives of targets and commission plans

Who you are

  • Demonstrable experience and knowledge within the Wholesale connectivity market; in depth understanding of the key market players and contacts, able to leverage your existing network.
  • Strong and evidenced experience in managing sales teams to growth and success.
  • Strong Strategic thinking and commercial acumen.
  • Experience of sales methodologies, with the ability to coach and develop sales teams.
  • Evidence experience of reporting to GMT/Exco internal stakeholders.
  • Strong influencing and relationship building skills.
  • Good understanding of UK Wholesale market dynamics and future trajectory.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of Wholesale products, strategic and tactical impact for market.
  • Strong and in depth knowledge of Wholesale customer portals / buying journeys and customer experience impact.
  • Experience in pricing strategies for Wholesale markets.
  • Strong Experience of developing, implementing and managing Partner Programmes.
  • General and good understanding of MVNO market.
