Key Responsibilities

The role is also responsible for leading the sales and account management of WWL licenses to mid-market market law firms in EMEA and Americas. You will use your relationship management and negotiation skills to grow your client base by approaching new clients, planning, and preparing presentations and communicating our product offering. You will also be required to lead the management of clients through their annual lifecycle and grow the value the accounts.

Key accountabilities
• Identify market opportunities and develop strong relationships with customers to win new business and achieve business objectives.

  • Build Account Management programme to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, identify opportunities to upsell and upgrade, and support the renewal cycle.
  • Demonstrate in-depth product, market and sector knowledge of clients and competitors that is shared within the company to enhance client experience and product development.

• Review and monitor pricing recommending changes as necessary.
• Assuming success, you will build a team within the department, including overseeing their workloads, planning the team's development, assess training needs and all line management responsibilities.
• Line manager and support junior members of the team, coaching and mentoring them when needed and taking an active role in their personal development within LBR.
• Develop strong cross-organisational relationships with key stakeholders (editorial, content dev, marketing etc.)
• Attend client meetings and communicate new product developments, obtaining client feedback.
• Manage the creation of proposals and development of marketing literature for new products.

  • Network with clients, attend industry events to build strategic relationships to enhance brand and opportunities for new business. You should be seeking to constantly develop your knowledge of the product and sector and bring new ideas and developments to your role from this.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

  • Knowledge and experience of operating in a fast growth B2B business information subscription/ SaaS environment.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and appetite for growth - successful experience penetrating new target markets and growing a book of business.
  • Customer focussed - excellent understanding of customer needs alongside business drivers and the use of that knowledge to improve sales execution.
  • Strong knowledge of sales management best practices, including sales methodologies and process, buyer journey, coaching etc
  • Experience of successfully leading and growing a sales/ account management team.
  • Pipeline and funnel optimisation to build consistent and optimisable performance.
  • Client relationship building and management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets.
  • International outlook.
  • Knowledge of the legal sector or professional services is desirable.
  • Ability to work to targets and showcase resilience in challenging situations.
  • Ability to role model key LBR values and behaviours for junior team members and deliver training where necessary.
