This Senior Business Analyst role will support the end-to-end transformation of Children's Services, which will involve utilising your business analysis and project delivery skills. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for small to medium project delivery and key business analysis documentation, such as requirement catalogues and process maps. You will act as the 'translator' between the business and technology, advocating for Children's Services requirements whilst supporting their digital transformation.
You will have excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills and be able to build effective relationships with key stakeholders within both Children's and IT & Digital teams. As this is a Senior role, you should also have knowledge of East Sussex County Council, specifically regarding the Children's Services department and teams.
You must be a self-starter and able to work independently, whilst at the same time be a good team player, as the role will involve collaborating with project colleagues and a range of stakeholders. You will receive guidance and support from the management team, as well as colleagues and the wider team members.
Essential skills:
- Stakeholder engagement and Interpersonal Skills: Proficient in building relationships with a variety of stakeholders, which will include senior management, within East Sussex County Council and our partner organisations.
- Time organisation: Ability to organise and prioritise your own work to meet deadlines.
- Business Analysis Tools & Techniques: Proficient knowledge and experience of applying a variety of business analysis tools & techniques, to investigate the customer's needs and service improvements.
- Project Delivery: Knowledge of project documentation and experience in delivering smaller projects.
- Knowledge of East Sussex County Council business and technologies, specifically within Children's Services.
