Job Description
Are you a detail-oriented and proactive professional with a passion for driving business change and IT transformation? Join our dynamic team at Legal & General Institutional Retirement as a Business Analyst! In this role, you will lead the requirements elicitation process on projects, both business and IT, ensuring that they are delivered to the agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality. You'll play a crucial part in enabling the organization to achieve its goals and objectives through innovative use of IT tools and a collaborative approach. What you'll be doing:
- Identifying business opportunities through stakeholder relationships, shaping ideas, creating and promoting solutions, and gaining senior management buy-in
- Leading requirements elicitation processes on projects, both business and IT, including defining the business opportunity/problem, planning and executing business analysis, and documenting requirements
- Conducting requirements validation with stakeholders, gaining appropriate approvals, and managing the change processes for requirements documentation to ensure clear traceability throughout the project lifecycle
- Critically reviewing and evaluating proposed solutions, identifying alignment with business strategies, and making recommendations to key stakeholders
- Continually evaluating the quality of all deliverables, including those of third parties, to ensure the end product is fit for purpose and acceptable to all stakeholders
- Translating principles of Business Transformation into business/people change activities and project outcomes
- Managing, motivating, and developing employees at all levels to maximize performance in line with the company's policies and procedures
Qualifications
Who we're looking for:
- A degree-level qualification or equivalent experience
- An IIBA Certification of Competency in Business Analysis™ (CCBA®) or BCS ISEB Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis
- Requisite knowledge of the UK Pensions market, including products, regulations, and asset & liability management
- Outstanding project management experience at a senior level with a proven delivery track record of change/transformation
- The ability to adapt to project governance and control
- Effective and confident communication style with stakeholders
- Collaborative in nature with both peers and stakeholders
- Strong ability to adapt to change as well as strong at identifying continuous improvement opportunities
