What your role is
Reporting to the Channels Customer Director, this role will be responsible for driving growth across Food Service, Out of Home & Distributor channels. The successful candidate will lead a team of 3 Account Managers and 1 Sales Executive to deliver account targets & build customer relationships with route to market & end users. They will need to champion Food Service in the business and manage our trade show calendar
Role & Responsibilities
- Work with Customer Director to develop Food Service, Out of Home & Distributor strategic action plan
- Line manage Account Managers & Sales Executive to deliver account targets across Sales, Profit & Distribution
- Develop depth & breadth of contacts at customers & end users who are key stakeholders and/or enablers at multiple levels
- Execute General Mills strategic projects & be the voice of Food Service for the business. Work with the brand teams to develop specific Food Service plans across marketing & product development
- Support Account Managers to develop joint business plans that mutually growth both General Mills & the customer
- Lead reporting of internal & external performance across Food Service, Out of Home & Distributors
- Lead research & provide insights and expertise in channel development through data & attending industry events
- Manage trade show budget through careful selection of events to attend each year

- Significant Food Service experience vital
- Performance Record: Last 3yrs & with customer facing experience

- Engaging & Influencing: At customers and with cross functional partners

- Line Management Experience: Preferred
