Our client is seeking a Senior to Associate Chartered Building Surveyor to join their growing Newcastle team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment, delivering the full range of Building Surveying services for a wide variety of high-profile public and private sector clients.
We are looking for an ambitious surveyor with 5+ years post-qualification experience, proven ability in building client relationships, and successfully delivering commissions.
As part of a collaborative and supportive team, you'll not only contribute to exciting projects across sectors such as government, education, healthcare and commercial but also play a key role in the growth and leadership of the regional business.
What you'll be doing:
- Acting as a key client interface, ensuring quality and timely service delivery
- Leading projects across multiple sectors, from inception to completion
- Supporting business growth through client development and work-winning activities
- Providing technical expertise, mentoring, and guidance to junior surveyors (including APC support)
- Contributing to the strategic growth and development of the regional team
What we're looking for:
- BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying, RICS accredited
- Chartered MRICS status (ideally but not essential)
- Broad experience in professional and project-based Building Surveying
- Excellent client-facing and business development skills
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication abilities
- Good working knowledge of IT (Word, Excel; AutoCAD desirable) and H&S requirements
- Willingness to travel as projects demand
