Senior Building Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Senior Building Surveyor (RICS/SCSI qualified) to join the central Dublin based Building Consultancy team of a large international Property Consultancy, delivering professional and project services to a diverse client base including landlords, occupiers, investors, institutions, and corporate clients.

The role covers a broad range of building surveying duties such as: building surveys for investment and occupation, dilapidations, contract administration, refurbishment projects, planned maintenance advice (PPM), project management, and development monitoring for funders. You will manage client relationships, lead project teams, and deliver projects from inception to completion with minimal supervision, ensuring quality, timeliness, and profitability.

Key responsibilities include:

• Undertaking building surveys, defect analysis, and preparing specifications, schedules, and contracts
• Administering refurbishment and fit-out projects, including development and project monitoring
• Managing dilapidations, landlord/tenant negotiations, and party wall matters
• Contributing to business development and maintaining strong client relationships

Requirements:

• MRICS / MSCSI qualified with 3+ years' post-qualification commercial surveying experience
• Strong technical knowledge across both professional and project-based surveying
• Excellent communication, organisation, and client management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams
• Commercially aware with proven business development ability
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and ideally MS Project; CAD experience desirable
• Clean driving licence
