Senior Building Services Technician

This high-profile position offers an exceptional opportunity to become an integral part of the Kingsway operation. You will be supervising a small on-site building services with the challenge of ensuring the building, landscaping and offices are always maintained to the highest standard and fully operational.

• Job Title - Senior Building Services Technician

• Location - Kingsway Distribution Centre

• Working rota - 4 on 4 off - 12 hours per day.

What You'll Be Doing:

• The ability to lead a small team.
• To assist in the first line assessment of building related emergencies, breakdowns and problems.
• Simple joinery tasks including replacing door handles, hinges, door closers, adjusting doors, refitting wire cables for warehouse doors, fitting notice boards, TV brackets etc.
• Plumbing tasks including replacing taps, toilets seats, toilet flushes, isolating leaks, clearing blockages.
• Replacing lamps, broken facia plates, re setting breakers.
• Completing minor refurbishment and redecoration works as part of an ongoing schedule of works to keep the site in good condition.
• Small removals.
• Cleaning of canteen filters on a regular basis.
• Assisting in property inspections identifying and acting upon repair requirements.
• Various other ad hoc tasks as and when required.

What We're Looking For:

• Practical knowledge of buildings and building services.
• IPAF licence.
• Must be able to react to business requirement.
• Must have a can-do attitude and a flexible approach to working hours.
