Senior Broker-US Energy Casualty

What the day will look like
- Review Submission
- Lead quote broking / Follow market broking
- Present terms to client / network
- Firm Order broking (PPL / email)
- Record broking activity in market sheets
- Review draft / final MRC
- Send Cover confirmation to client/network
- Provide benchmarking and placement advice to clients
- Client meetings
- Establish and manage pipeline

The job includes opportunity to travel, meet US Fortune 100 companies who ultimately are placing their trust in our broking capabilities and expertise within a dynamic and innovative environment. We are constantly looking to innovate and build upon our already extensive product portfolio.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- c10 years market broking experience within the US and/or International Casualty Energy marketplace
- Knowledge in all the Up/Mid/Downstream sectors is preferred along Utilities and Renewables experience
- Sound understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes
- Ability to use insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service
- Experience of managing effective client relationships.
- Ability to structure complex placement programmes with the best client outcomes in mind at all times
- Good understanding of compliance and FCA regulation
- Ability to work well independently, as well as part of a team
