Senior Broker/Director - Professional Indemnity

Aon has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Broker to join our Professional Services Team , which forms part of our London Global Broking Centre.
This role will suit a highly-experienced broker, who is looking to step into a Director level position and take on more client and complex placement responsibilities. It involves co-ordinating and contributing to the marketing and negotiation of Professional Indemnity business within the Lloyd's and Company Markets on a day-to-day basis in accordance with Marketing Strategy.
This is a Hybrid role that will involve both office and home-based working.

What the day will look like
- Review Submission
- Lead quote broking / Follow market broking
- Present terms to client / network
- Firm Order broking (PPL / email)
- Record broking activity in market sheets
- Review draft / final MRC
- Send Cover confirmation to client/network
- Provide benchmarking and placement advice to clients
- Client meetings
- Respond to A/C queries
- Establish and manage pipeline

Skills and experience that will lead to success
- c10 years market broking experience within the Professional Indemnity marketpalce
- Sound understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes
- Ability to use insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service
- Experience of managing effective client relationships.
- Ability to structure complex placement programmes with the best client outcomes in mind at all times
- Good understanding of compliance and FCA regulation
- Ability to work well independently, as well as part of a team
