Senior Broker (Reinsurance London US Casualty)
We are currently recruiting a Senior Broker, Reinsurance Treaty, to join our North American Casualty team in London.

What the day will look like
As a senior broker, some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Working with clients on sophisticated, large capacity placements
- Providing advice to clients and colleagues on placement design, available coverage capacity, likely pricing, potential coverage improvements and market progress within scope of responsibility
- Analysing clients' reinsurance requirements, collect and analyse information to identify risk transfer solutions
- Reviewing and quality check reinsurance documentation
- Negotiating the best prices and capacity using knowledge, expertise, and market presence for desired cover where appropriate
- Contributing to on-going client satisfaction, retention, and profitability
Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests, or reputation of any Group Company
Skills and experience that will lead to success
As a broker, your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
- Proven technical competence of client needs and the Reinsurance Market
- Strong experience in the broking/reinsurance industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to demonstrate sound business and financial competence
- Have strong industry networking skills and knowledge
- Have excellent sales and marketing skills
- Strong team-working capabilities
