This role is a 12 month fixed term contract role.

Responsibilities

The role holder will manage the brand team and oversee all content and brand activity. Using market information to develop and deliver marketing campaigns that drive acquisition and retention. Taking full ownership of an annual DM marketing plan to achieve revenue and net customer numbers. The role holder will be responsible for developing and executing the strategy and its delivery for their business area, playing a direct role in increasing our market share and revenue, developing brand awareness and promoting our products into the education markets. They will also be responsible for managing and developing the Marketing Managers and Global Content team, ensuring business consistency and optimising all customer touchpoints.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the team and drive consistency and optimise all customer touchpoints
  • Build campaigns to drive customer behaviour - customer acquisition, retention, attrition, revenue growth through omni-channel campaigns.
  • Support the development of brand and go to market strategy - underpinned by market intelligence and customer data
  • Support the development of the content and social media strategy to drive brand awareness through content campaigns and social media presence
  • Support on online strategy to become a digital 1st business and drive online sales.
  • Oversee key strategic partnerships with key associations
  • Oversee and project manage events cross-functionally
  • Manage and deliver the annual DM plan within budget and prescribes timelines.
  • Oversee the strategy for allocated customer segment
  • Market research for division to support on strategy and new opportunities
  • Briefing and developing the creative with the in-house creative team
  • Use data to drive to monitor impact of campaigns and help form future plans
  • Manage and monitor budget to ensure all activity is within planned spend
  • Work cross-functionally to gain stakeholder support and buy in.
  • Drive high performance team culture, with a clear roadmap for career development and progression

Experience

  • A full Driving License and ability to travel within the UK
  • Extensive experience of developing, maintaining and delivering on omni-channel marketing strategies to meet the company objectives
  • Marketing experience within a related industry would be desirable but not essential
  • Experience of managing and developing a team to achieve personal and business goals
  • Ability to understand data and make data-led strategic decisions
  • Strong planning, negotiation and organising skills
  • Ability to work on their own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels and strong stakeholder engagement
  • Able to multi-task and achieve deadlines and targets with excellence
  • A strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • A proven ability to oversee all marketing and advertising activities
