JOIN US! We are seeking a Senior Presales/Solutions Engineer to join our Enterprise IT sales team for Europe
As the Senior Presales/Solutions Engineerfor Europe, you will partner with the Europe Sales Director to develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
As an individual contributor, you will focus on building and executing the solutions sales GTM strategies for our ITSM, IT Operations Management, and Asset management products to new and existing enterprise clients.
Job Description
What you'll do:
- Customer-Centric Solutions: Drive technical solutions quickly and effectively to meet customer needs with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Product Demonstrations: Demonstrate our ITSM, ESM, AI, and automation products effectively to audiences with varied technical backgrounds. This includes both standard and tailored product demonstrations for prospects and existing customers onsite and via Teams.
- Stay Informed: Maintain a current understanding of product developments, releases, and competitor activities, and understand the key differentiators of our solutions.
- Solution Expertise: Understand the business and technical problems addressed by our solutions, including key regulations, business drivers, evolving business needs, and security considerations.
- Sales Process Support: Assist the sales team in qualifying customer needs, generating product demo scripts and scenarios, managing the sales bid process by responding to RFIs & RFPs, and ensuring successful closure of sales opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales and liaise with product managers to provide client feedback about products, ensuring solutions in the Statement of Work are best practices and align with client needs.
- Market Trends: Keep abreast of market trends and competitor activities to inform product strategy and sales approaches.
- Event Support: Support marketing events such as user conferences, trade shows, and webinars.
- Travel Requirements: Travel within the region to meet customers and partners as necessary.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Significant prior experience in presales with ITSM/ESM/ITAM/Automation solutions such as ServiceNow, BMC, HP, CA.
- ITIL V4/V3 proficiency or Expert certified.
- Strong technical understanding of IT infrastructure, network, and database concepts.
- Functional knowledge of scripting and application development technologies like Java, .Net, JavaScript, etc.
- Proven technical expertise in web technology and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and other sales-related software.
- Experience with strategic account planning and management, bid environments, and large-scale ESM bids.
- Strong problem-solving, prioritization, interpersonal communication, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Desired Experience:
- Hands-on experience with tools like ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, HPSM, CA Service Desk Manager, Manage Engine, etc.
