Our Opportunity:

We are recruiting for an experienced Proposals Coordinator to join our dedicated Bid and Proposals Team based in Leicestershire. You will be responsible for supporting the preparation of proposals for both Government, Public and Private sector clients.

This is a key role with visibility at a senior level across our organisation and the opportunity to make a positive impact on our business. You will be an integral member of bid teams, providing end-to-end support for Bid Managers and the bid process, to produce and deliver cost effective, high-quality and compliant bid responses.

Our Proposals Coordinator role also presents exciting opportunities for you to engage in developing and implementing key initiatives aimed at enhancing our approach to sales enablement, driving the ongoing improvement in the quality and competitiveness of our bid submissions to attain best in industry win rates.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Supporting our Bid Managers on large value strategically important and complex bids
  • Unpicking ITT's, defining response requirements and developing bid submission plans to ensure submissions are fully compliant with the tender requirements
  • Facilitating and supporting bid decisions ensuring win themes are communicated clearly to create impactful well-structured and compelling proposals
  • Preparing and managing the bid team schedule, including organising and facilitating progress review meetings
  • Collaborating and working closely with members of our wider technical project teams
  • Carrying out debriefings with clients and internal response teams to learn lessons and implement improvements
  • Maintaining library of proposal collateral to ensure its accuracy, taking corrective action where appropriate

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of creating and delivering compelling and successful proposals to support bids/proposal development for Government, Public, and Private Sector clients
  • Strategic mindset with strong desire to improve win rate
  • Good analytical and commercial skills
  • Self-motivated with the desire to take ownership and make things happen
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast paced, commercial environment
  • Focused and resilient with the skill to build strong working relationships & communicate with stakeholders at many different levels within the business and externally
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools
  • Preferably a Member of APMP

This role is ideally based in Loughborough, however, we are open to candidates who could work from one of our other key UK offices (Bristol, Stockport, Glasgow, Aberdeen, London, Brampton (Cumbria)).
