Senior Benefits Advisor
Level 2.5 - Supervising Associate
Location: Birmingham
Hybrid working: Currently 2 days per week in the office
Role purpose and accountabilities
Supporting the Benefits Manager in the development and delivery of the Benefits proposition across multiple entities and service lines. With a sound knowledge of contractual and flexible employee benefits, benefit systems functionality and benefit legislation, the role will be the main point of contact for benefits and financial wellness expertise for the whole of the UK firm and play an integral role in educating, implementing and enhancing the Total Reward agenda at EY.

Key Responsibilities
Benefit Strategy
- Support the design, implementation, education and administration of the UK benefit program and policy at EY for c20,000 employees across multiple service lines
- Support in the management of professional supplier selection process and oversight of key deliverables, and renewals
- Alongside the system provider, project manage and coordinate the annual flexible benefits enrolment window (UK and Ireland)
- Consult, advise and guide the business on all matters of benefit policy
- Support with resolving escalations/ issues raised by employees
Financial Wellness strategy
- Support the design, implementation, education and administration of Financial Wellness at EY
- Seek feedback from employees and monitor adoption of programs and initiatives making recommendations for change
- Support in the design and content on You + Money =, and on the education, communication planning and engagement with employees
- Support with professional supplier selection process and oversight of key deliverables, and renewals
Governance and risk management
- Support all aspects of the procurement process for all benefit contract renewals and onboarding of new providers
- Responsible for running the end-to-end IT, risk and data compliance processes for the onboarding and renewal of third party vendors
- Ensuring all internal governance around quality and compliance is met to strict deadline
- Liaising with all stakeholders in the compliance and risk framework
Relationship Management
- Collaborate with the wider Talent team, Risk Management, Procurement, Shared Services and key senior stakeholders.
- Support the relationship with third party vendors and providers to ensure high standard of delivery against service delivery agreement
Skills
- Manage multiple agendas, meet demanding time frames, with strong communication and networking skills and ability to work effectively across teams
- Technical knowledge and expertise including legislative changes affecting employee benefit policy, experience of HR systems integration into employee benefits processes and knowledge of system implementations including IT, Information Security and Data Protection
- Ability to be successful in a virtual team environment
- Demonstrate knowledge of the UK benefit market, current and future
- Manage, report and present data analytics and be able to manage large budgets (up to £1,000,000 per annum)
Experiences
- Substantial experience working within HR with Global/ UK benefits - credible and proven track record of success within HR
- Established experience of leading projects with multiple work streams and managing senior stakeholders
