What you will be doing

This is an exciting time to join Breathe. Having proven the value of our products in both the automotive and consumer electronics spaces, we are scaling our Battery Team. You'll play a leading role in embedded software product delivery for automotive and consumer electronic customers by leading technical aspects of our product delivery. You will be responsible for delivering battery performance proven by test data, as well as ensuring a smooth integration process with customer platforms. You will be actively engaging in conversations with customers to scope technical work packages, evaluate data and derive actions to meet battery performance targets.

Your day to day

• Responsible for assessing battery performance using test data and deriving pathways to ensure project delivery
• Supporting sale's team in technical scoping and pre-sale client engagement, demonstrating technical credibility
• Gathering performance and integration requirements in commercial projects
• Generating high-quality technical documents for both external reporting and continuous development of our internal knowledge base

Your background

• Previous relevant industry experience
• Understanding of battery mechanisms and fundamentals at cell level
• Experience with battery management systems is a plus, but not essential
• Experience of coding for data analysis
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink is a plus but not essential
• Ability to collaborate with other departments in a kind and conscientious manner
